Chris Brown debuts three new titles, simultaneously, to the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. He holds guest spots on Ace Hood’s “Body to Body,” Game’s “Pot of Gold” and his own, “Wet the Bed,” feat. Ludacris.
All the songs debut a bit under the No. 50 mark. “Body to Body” charts at No. 73. Game’s new single, “Pot of Gold,” off “The R.E.D. Album” (Aug. 23) charts at No. 75 and Breezy’s “Wet the Bed” holds the No. 89 spot. Chris currently holds seven cuts on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Breezy is the third artist to chart three titles at concert in Billboard history since we began using Nielsen data to power the charts in December, 1992. Gucci Mane and Lil Wayne debuted three tracks simultaneously in the week of June 27, 2009 and Oct. 10, 2009, respectively.
On July 20th, Chris Brown officially announced his hip-hop upcoming mixtape, titled “Boy In Detention,” via Twitter. “New (chris brown) hip hop mixtape called “Boy In Detention” coming soon! [sic]” Brown tweeted. “And people… Yes I’m a singer so if thsi mixtape doesn’t reach your quota for hip hop! Simply don’t listen..” Brown has been toying with the idea for a minute, and not a bad one especially after the great responses his “Real Hip Hop Shit” freestyles have received.

It’s all good for the Hood. In 2010, 23 year-old Ace Hood was feeling agony. He was on a career hiatus that lasted a year. With no records on radio, his bread and butter, money earned from concerts, started to dry up. He was going through relationship turmoil and most horrific, some of his friends were killed in the streets.
All the pain served as inspiration for his new LP, Blood, Sweat and Tears (due August 9). This Spring, Ace–the current cornerstone act on DJ Khaled’s We The Best Records–silenced all the people who said his career was over when he released one of the top anthems of 2011, “Hustle Hard.” The song, which finds Ace rapping urgently about having to overcome struggle has garnered a monumental response from both fans and artists. Lil Wayne and Rick Ross enjoyed the record so much, they asked to be on the remix.
With spins for his lead cuts in heavy rotation, Hood followed up with “Go And Get It,” where he once again rhymes about facing the most bleek circumstances such as immediate eviction.
“I wrote it on the road. I wrote the hook. Then it took me a few weeks to piece it together, the exact way I wanted it to be,” Ace said last week outside of his Miami condo. “What’s so funny, writing these records, I be looking for that chant. ‘What’s the key that’s gonna have them chanting in the clubs?’
“I put the ‘go and get it’ in,” he added. “I felt like a genius as soon as I created the record. ‘This is going to be another Hustle Hard. Something everybody can relate to. It’s living proof. I lived those circumstances. Having seven days to move out, having a cousin lose her mind.”
The Broward County native credits heavy prayer, getting back into church and a keen focus for coming out of his turmoil. As the accolades for his new music ventures continue to roll in, MTV Jams debuted “Go and Get It” on the channel last week.
“I wanted to really get the message through,” Ace, who says he’s honored by the Jams nod, explained of the clip. “I wanted it to be as real as possible. We took it to Deerfield Beach and shot it in the heart of my city. It represented my circumstances. It showed a young kid whose willing to do whatever it took in order to provide for his family. As opposed to taking the stupid way out, I chose the right way. As opposed to picking up artillery, I grabbed my CDs and walked into the store [to sell them.] As opposed to thinking about robbing the joint.”
As the release date for his third LP nears, Ace is back in heavy promo. He did 40 straight dates on the road before taking a two day break and today he’s back to jaunting different cities. Besides going to radio station and doing in-stores, Ace will be making surprise performance appearances on Lil’ Wayne’s “I Am Still Music” tour which is back up and running. To top it off, Ace already has his next video in the can. No struggling, he cuddling. “Body To Body” finds Ace and Chris Brown seducing women.
“Life for Ace Hood right now is phenomenal,” Ace, the new father of twin girls testified. “I’m definitely in a better position than, let’s say, a year ago. Life is wonderful. I wake up everyday and continue to do what I love. I see my fans every single day. I’m in a position now where I can provide for not just my little ones, but my entire family. Life is what I wanted it to be. I can’t complain at all. God has been good.”

Look out the Drake’s and Kid Cudi’s, another singing rapper is on the horizon. Embattled singer Chris Brown recently announced his plans to release a mixtape that he plans to rap on in it’s entirety. Earlier today Breezy broke the news on his Twitter feed.
“New(chris brown) hip hop mixtape called “Boy In Detention” coming soon!” Brown tweeted. “And people… Yes I’m a singer so if this mixtape doesn’t reach your quota for hip hop! Simply don’t listen..”
A tattooed up C. Brown has showcased his passion for rapping over the past year, stepping up his efforts most recently on records “Look At Me Now” and Big Sean’s “My Last” but Detention will mark his first full effort spitting on a whole project.
News of Breezy releasing a mixtape dedicated strictly for the Hip-Hop heads immediately excited his fanbase.
“@chrisbrown Excited for your mixtape to drop!! So glad to see u doing so well despite the haters. Wishing you much continued success!!” tweeted user @CarlaAshley1920.
“@chrisbrown #RealTalk. everyone has the chance to choose the kind of music they listen to. I’ve chosen yours” added user @BreezyTooFly888.
To formally usher in his new street album Brown revamped his look revealing a set of gold grills that would make Master P blush.
“Stomach ache from eating gold!!!!” Brown tweeted after showing off his grills. The singer’s ever supporting fans had a variety of comments following his latest look.
“@chrisbrown omg why uve got no teeth” user @DaisyRobinsonx questioned. “woah that doesn’t look like you!” @itsbreezymofos chimed in.
Another fan implied that Breezy’s gold teeth puts him alongside other MCs portrayed as bad boy rappers.
“@chrisbrown lol your so cute! Bad but cute” user @Dame_Unique simply put it.

As we all know, Chris Brown and morning news shows don’t always get along. Yet despite his “Good Morning America” meltdown back in March, Team Breezy was overwhelmingly on the scene at Brown’s “Today” Show concert this morning (July 15) to show their support.
In fact, it was one of the largest crowds to flock “Today’s” Rockefeller Plaza location, with the show’s anchors reporting nearly 18,000 fans — some lining up as early as Wednesday (July 13). (And we thought the lines for “Harry Potter” were bad!)
So naturally, there was a bit of anticipation for Brown’s performance. He not only rocked his signature Breezy dance moves, but a pink bowtie as well, catching Al Roker’s eye (yes, he was singing along). Watch below, as Brown kicks things off with an old favorite (“Forever”) before performing “F.A.M.E. singles “Yeah 3X” and “She Ain’t You.”

A very random story popped up in Star magazine about two days ago claiming that Chris Brown went on another gay slur rant. Allegedly, the singer played in a pick-up basketball game on June 29th and went totally bonkers when the game wasn’t going his way.
“He got really ticked off when things didn’t go his way during the game, saying, ‘That’s gay!’ and ‘You’re a f*gg*t a**!’ to the other players,” an eyewitness tells Star exclusively.
When another player didn’t pass him the ball, the 22-year-old Forever singer, perhaps best known for beating up Rihanna, fired off more slurs, calling him a “f*gg*t” and saying it was a “gay” move.
Chris’s rep released a statement stating that the report was completely false, and that Chris was filming the music video for Body 2 Body with rapper Ace Hood that day.
A totally fictitious article ran in the current Star Magazine (issue date July 25, 2011) accusing our client Chris Brown of doing something that he did not do. The article claimed that on June 29, 2011, Chris participated in a pick up basketball game at 24 Hour Fitness Center in LA and said some very inappropriate statements. The incident described did not occur, nor did the Star ever contact Chris’ representatives to request comment or confirmation. Chris was filming a video with AceHood on June 29 and never left the set. He spent the entire day with dozens of members of the production team filming the video for “Body To Body” at 1870 Sunset Plaza in West Hollywood.
The Star accompanied the fabricated story with a photo of Chris playing basketball in New York that was taken on the day of his F.A.M.E. CD release in March. Chris Brown’s management is considering taking appropriate legal action against the paper. Unfortunately this bogus account is being picked up by additional media outlets. We stand behind our client and want to set the record straight that this did not happen.

Joe Jonas was once a curly-haired kid from New Jersey who sang bubblegum pop/rock songs about puppy love with his brothers. Well, he’s grown up a lot since then. He chopped off his hair and, on his first-ever solo album, Fast Life, he’s opening up about falling in and out of love.
And in August, the middle JoBro turns a very grown-up 22. So, what does he have planned for the big day?
“I don’t have any birthday plans yet, actually,” he told MTV News recently. “I don’t even know where we’re going to be because we’re trying to figure out a touring situation right now and it either looks like I’m going on my tour, my own tour, or opening up for somebody, supporting somebody on tour.”
While his plans are still to be determined, he was sure of one thing: “Wherever I am, there will be a party and it will be fun.”
Speaking of tours, Joe was once rumored to be hitting the road with Britney Spears on her now all-female Femme Fatale trek. Those plans didn’t pan out, of course, and now he’s looking to hook up with someone else on the road. Joe even shared his dream tourmate with us.
“My dream list, wow … I mean, doing a tour with Chris would be cool,” he said of Chris Brown, who helped the singer pen his first single, “See No More.” “I feel like, musically, we both have the same sounds and we liked working together, so I can see it working.”
Joe’s album drops in September, and he told us that he’s not holding back on it. “It was scary in the beginning,” he said of doing a solo LP, “just because I knew this is my one opportunity to show people my journal: the good and bad of every relationship I’ve been in, you know, [and] what I look for [in relationships],” he explained.
