Chris slipped and fell during the F.A.M.E. Tour in Indianapolis yesterday, September 25th, during a performance of his dance hit, Beautiful People. The singer slipped and fell while coming down a slippery ramp on the stage due to rain. Chris got right back up and went on with the show. His mother tweeted: “ANGELS WE NEED TO PRAY THAT CHRIS IS OK. HE FELL N HURT HIS ARM.”
Chris himself was even joking about the situation on Twitter today, tweeting: “Bust my Azz on stage last night! Hella rain but we had a great time!!!! Damn near broke my arm! Lol”.
We’re just glad you’re okay, Chris!

Singer Chris Brown is doing his good deed. The popular singer recently reached out to the young fan who was honorable enough to return his $22,000 watch after he misplaced it while performing during last Sunday’s Video Music Awards. Once the pricey item was discovered missing Brown’s team immediately when on a search for the watch when a young fan stepped forward to return it.
Last night Brown reached out to the young lady via Twitter, offering an opportunity to meet him in person.
“S/O to Alisha Borton @lish2487 for returning my watch at the VMAs!! I want to invite you to my show in Cincinnati. Can’t wait to meet you!!!” Brown tweeted.
During Sunday’s (August 28) MTV Video Music Awards, R&B entertainer Chris Brown thrilled the audience and fans watching at home with a high-flying set showcasing his energetic dance moves. In the start of his performance Brown tried to avoid a bit of wardrobe malfunction and removed his loosening Rolex watch, tossing it to what he thought was a secure spot for later retrieval. The watch actually landed in the crowd where surely the watch would be lost forever. However, one honest fan stepped forward with the goods.
Gossip site TMZ reported that after Brown’s “Beautiful People” set, one of his bodyguards entered the throng and asked if anyone had the $22,000 Rolex. Much to the surprise of many, a fan stepped up and returned the watch to Brown’s security team who got the watch back to the singer.
Breezy was undoubtedly appreciative of getting his watch back; “Although Chris did not get to meet the fan, he is very appreciative of the fan’s actions,” Brown’s rep shared with the site.
As Chris Brown gears up for his nationwide F.A.M.E. tour this September with guest performers Kelly Rowland, T-Pain and his “Snapbacks Back” partner Tyga, fans can rest assured that Chris Brown will no doubt take better care of securing his expensive jewels before he hits the stage.
Check out this MTV Frame by Frame of Chris Brown’s VMA-Nominated ‘Look At Me Now’ with director Colin Tilley. He explains some of the concepts behind the video, including some fun facts that you probably didn’t know before!
Bright, sparkly lights designed in an arc pierced the stage and shone down on R&B singer Chris Brown as he hit the stage at Sunday’s Video Music Awards.
Dressed in a white formal suit, the performer slow-shuffled down to the dance stage, and once he landed in the middle of the dance floor, he was flanked by full-skirted dancers. He gyrated and danced and sang his hit “Yeah 3X,” while Kanye West jumped to his feet and clapped his approval.
On the psychedelic set, Brown high-stepped his way through the track, and eventually was joined onstage by tuxedo-clad dancers. He then moved into the 1993 Wu-Tang Clan classic “Protect Ya Neck,” moving to the ’90s backbeats in traditional hip-hop dance breaks.
His routine then moved to 1991, making the unexpected to choice to dance to Nirvana’s “Teen Spirit,” and one of Brown’s dancers jumped on a trampoline to the rock classic.
Brown then came back to the future when he began singing his latest hit, “Beautiful People.” Things really reached new heights as Brown was elevated high above the crowd, connected to invisible wires, as the crowd cheered as he landed on another stage.
Once he landed, he did a running-man routine, with him and his dancers moving in place and high-stepping their way through the hit. Later, other dancers were elevated and positioned behind him to join in on the routine.
Brown then went back in the air, back-flipped and yoga-posed midair in a “Matrix”-like performance. Every time he went up in the air, he did splits and back-flips.
While his “Look at Me Now” video was nominated, he hit the stage without collaborators Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes.
Chris Brown stole the show in Las Vegas with his table-hopping performance at the 2007 VMAs, and he’s been a tough act to follow ever since. But now he faces an even bigger challenge: topping himself.
As they prepare Breezy’s moves for the 2011 VMAs, veteran chorographers Rich and Tone are confident he’ll pull it off on Sunday night.
“You’re definitely gonna see Chris Brown; in a 1000 percent mode,” said Rich of CB’s plans. “Of course everybody knows he can sing, he has great music, and aside from that, you’re going to see that he’s an amazing dancer.”
It’s still anyone’s guess which song (or songs) the pragmatic dance machine will perform, but his latest album F.A.M.E. has produced a number of hits, including “Deuces,” the Michael Jackson-inspired “She Ain’t You” and his Best Collaboration-nominated single “Look at Me Now” with Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes. Any one of those aforementioned tracks is an option, or he could do a medley that includes multiple chart-toppers.
Rich and Tone, who choreographed this year’s routine as well Chris’ 2007 stage show, remained tight-lipped about what Breezy’s stage will look like, but the veteran dancers are impressed with what they’ve seen in rehearsals so far. “We’ve been working with Chris for many years; I’ve never seen him this way on this performance ever,” Tone teased. “He’s pulling out all his tricks on this one. He’s definitely gonna show you something fresh and new; something he has never done before.”
But can Chris Brown top ’07′s display where he sang his single “Wall to Wall” while hopping table-to-table, incorporating the audience into his now-classic routine? “It’s hard to top yourself, but that’s the goal that we’re trying to hit,” Tone said. “So, yes, it’s a yes to that question, we are trying to top the 2007 performance.”
Chris got to ride along with professional stunt driver, Mike Ryan, in a semi truck in Las Vegas while on the set of his new video, Yoko featuring Wiz Khalifa, Big K.R.I.T. and Berner. Chris brought along his own toys too; a Lamborghini, a Viper, a Range Rover, and a Dodge Challenger. Looks like Chris had a lot of fun! Check out the video above.
