Two days before Chris Brown was to kick off the European leg of his successful Fan Appreciation Tour, the tour is off
Brown was apparently denied access into Europe — likely due to his status as a convicted felon here in the United States for assaulting his ex Rihanna — thus, forcing the shows, many of which were sold-out, to be canceled.
Breezy issued an apology to his fans via Twitter (which has since been deleted): “SORRY to all the fans in europe!!! my tour is cancelled. Im pretty sure yall know. my entry was denied in your country. i love you. SORRY!!”
In May, Brown played four sold-out Fan Appreciation Tour shows in Brazil.
Neonlimelight.com received the following statement from Brown’s publicist:
“Due to issues surrounding his work visa, Ireland and United Kingdom leg of Chris Brown’s Fan Appreciation Tour has been postponed. Chris looks forward to performing for his fans abroad in the near future and thanks them for their continued support.”
