The embattled American singer Chris Brown is preparing for a musical comeback, his friends say. Last week in Hollywood, Insider bumped into a good mate of Chris Brown’s, who exclusively revealed details of the star’s plans for his comeback album.
“His music is just too good to not come through,”said the close friend, a dancer and choreographer who toured Australia with the singer.
In February, Chris Brown, 20, was arrested for attacking then girlfriend Rihanna on the eve of the Grammy Awards. After his guilty plea, he is due to be formally sentenced to five years probation on August 27.
The controversy resulted in Chris Brown being dumped from several lucrative product endorsements, including Wrigley’s chewing gum.
“I honestly, truth be told, I felt like something needed to happen in his life to allow him to open his eyes to reality,” the friend said.
Chris Brown has penned tracks Transformers and Just Let Me Live for the album, which has a working title of Graffiti.
“Just Let Me Live personifies what he’s been going through,” according to the insider.
